Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS) was established in 1988 as a forum for nurse researchers to promote and support regional nursing research in the Northeastern United States. Its goalsinclude:
¨ Providing a forum for dissemination and critique of nursing research ¨ Stimulating interest in the scientific study of nursing phenomena ¨ Linking nurses with similar research interests ¨ Promoting recognition of nursing as a scientific discipline ¨ Promoting evidence-based nursing practice ¨ Fostering ethical standards in research
ENRS is comprised of nurse scientists and others who conduct and promote the conduct of nursing research. The ENRS region includes Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington, D.C
