18th Annual Scientific Sessions To increase student nurse awareness of the Eastern Nursing Research Society and encourage participation, we invite baccalaureate and master's degree nursing students to submit research or project posters for a Student Poster Session during the ENRS 2006 Conference. This special student poster session will not undergo the formal ENRS abstract review and approval process. Posters will be available for viewing Thursday evening, April 20, 2006 (just prior to the ENRS 2006 opening plenary session / reception). Students who plan to attend ONLY the student poster/ENRS 2006 opening reception to "man" their posters on Thursday evening will not be asked to pay conference registration fees but do need to be there presenting a poster. Each school of nursing in the ENRS Region is invited to submit a maximum of two student posters. It is the responsibility of each school to select the posters. This year we are asking that students submit abstracts describing their proposed poster. A BS / MS student poster award ceremony will be held during or just before the reception. Posters receiving a 1st place award will remain in place for the duration of the ENRS 2006 conference. There will be a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place award for both BS and MS posters. Also, free one-year memberships in ENRS will be given to the two (BS & MS) 1st place student winners. Poster Format: Posters will be attached to (pinned to) 4' x 8' Poster Boards outside of the general session room at the annual conference.
