16th Annual Scientific Sessions
Abstracts:
The 2004 Conference will focus on advancing the nursing research agenda to improve quality care. All submissions will be blind reviewed and considered for their potential contribution to the field. The deadline for submitting abstracts is September 17, 2003 and abstracts must be submitted online. Abstracts are now closed.
Abstracts Reviewers:
Abstract reviewers are being solicited for the 16th Annual Scientific Session of the Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS) meeting. Criteria for selection as a reviewer are:
- Current membership in ENRS
- Doctoral preparation in nursing or related field
- Evidence of research expertise
If you meet these criteria and would like to be considered for selection as a reviewer, please complete the abstract reviewer form and return it by September 12, 2003 Selected reviewers will be notified by September 15, 2003. Abstract reviewers consideration is now closed.
Awards:
The ENRS Awards committee is now accepting nominations for both the Distinguished Contributions to Nursing Research and the John A. Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing Practice Research Awards. Complete a nomination form today, the deadline for nominations is February 20, 2004.
Conference objectives include:
- Identify partnership models that work to advance the nursing research agenda for quality care
- Describe the state of the science in developing hospital, community, and academic partnerships to advance nursing research for quality care
- Provide opportunity for networking among nurse scientists, scholars, leaders and educators, and disseminate results of research studies to a broad audience of leaders and scholars

27th - ENRS announces the location, co-sponsor and date of our 16th Annual Scientific Sessions
- April, 2003:
- May, 2003:
20th - Call for abstracts and abstract reviewers mailed
- June, 2003:
- July, 2003:
- August, 2003:
- September, 2003:
12th - last day to apply to be an abstract reviewer
15th - selected abstract reviewers will be notified by this date
17th - Abstract submission deadline
- October, 2003:
1st - abstract reviewers will receive abstract by this date
22nd - deadline for returning abstract reviews
- November, 2003:
- December, 2003:
1st - presenters are notified of the decision of the review committee by this date
22nd - Presenters must confirm their participation by this date
- January, 2004:
- February, 2004:
20th - Nominations are due for ENRS Awards
- March, 2004:
- April, 2004:
