Doctoral Student Scholar Award

The Doctoral Student Scholar Award is jointly sponsored by the ENRS Membership and Awards Committees. This award will recognize the research of two doctoral students at the annual ENRS Scientific Sessions.

1^st, 2^nd, & 3^rd place Doctoral Student Poster Presentations and 1^st, 2^nd, & 3^rd place Doctoral Student Paper Presentations will be chosen at the annual conference. The Doctoral Student Scholar Award will automatically go to the 1^st place Doctoral Student Poster and 1^st place Doctoral Student Paper Presentation chosen. All doctoral students presenting a poster and/or paper (must mark abstracts as "student") during the annual conference will be eligible for this exciting award. Only 2 of these Doctoral Student Scholar awards are given out. The recipients of the 1^st place Doctoral Student Poster and the 1^st place Doctoral Student Paper Presentation will receive a free one year membership in ENRS. All Winners (1^st, 2^nd, & 3^rd) will receive:

• A framed certificate to be presented during the awards ceremony
• Acknowledgment in the May/June issue of Nursing Research Journal

The ENRS Abstract Committee and the ENRS Awards Committee choose the recipients of this award. Scores are derived from both the score given by the abstract review committee (weighted 50%) and the score given by the awards committee on presentation or poster evaluation at the ENRS Annual Conference (weighted 50%).
