20th Annual Scientific Sessions
Invitation to Bachelor's and Master's Degree Nursing Students to Submit Research or Project Posters

To increase student nurse awareness of the Eastern Nursing Research Society and encourage participation, we invite baccalaureate and master's degree nursing students to submit research or project posters for a Student Poster Session during the ENRS 2008 Conference, Reflecting Our Past and Imagining Our Future: The Globalization of Nursing Research. This special student poster session will not undergo the formal ENRS abstract review and approval process. Posters will be available for viewing at a designated session advertised on the website shortly. 

Each school of nursing is invited to submit a maximum of two student poster abstracts: one bachelor's student project and one master's student project. You may not submit two abstracts in only one category. It is the responsibility of each school to select the poster abstracts. This year we are asking that students submit abstracts describing their proposed poster. A Bachelor's/Master's student poster award ceremony will be held during the reception. Posters receiving a 1st place award will remain in place for the duration of the ENRS 2008 conference. There will be a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place award for both Bachelor's and Master's posters. Also, free one-year memberships in ENRS will be given to the two first place winners.

Poster Format: Posters will be attached to (pinned to) 4' x 8' Poster Boards outside of the general session room at the annual conference. Examples (check back for poster examples).

Awards criteria: During the student poster session, each presenter shall be near their poster to respond to any reviewer's questions and to possibly present the information in the poster (Poster Rating Scale included along with Abstract Submission Guidelines).

(The submission deadline has been extended from December 14, 2007 to January 18, 2008)
Please send the following Student Poster Information (Cover Sheet) with abstract by January 18, 2008 to the ENRS Home Office via email egray@fernley.com. The subject line should read BS/MS Student Poster Session. This student poster information can be submitted as an attachment within an email along with the attached abstracts for both Bachelor's and Master's Submissions and please identify which is which.
