Please join us for our next event in the Fall 2026 Stony Brook School of Nursing Research Seminar Series when we welcome Mount Sinai Health System's Bevin Cohen, PhD, MPH, MS, RN, FAAN and her presentation "Exploring the Work of Clinically Based Nurse Scientists." This one-hour talk will discuss the history, purpose, and future directions of nurse scientists who are employed directly within healthcare delivery settings. We will describe how clinically based nurse scientists partner with clinical nurses and nurse leaders to conduct and translate research that is immediately applicable to clinical practice.
