The aim of this work was to revolutionize the case study paradigm and deconstruct the traditional case study approach, placing the patient, instead of the disease, at the center of the narrative. This embedded case study design intercalates the clinicians’ presentation of the case with the patients and care partners’ narrative on the lived experience.
