Many researchers find it daunting to initiate global health research and partnerships. The Global Health RIG, through a panel discussion, will discuss how they found support from a home institution, appropriate funding, time and mentorship that led them to success in global health research. Through examples of ongoing global health projects, the panel will explain how they overcame specific challenges and how they navigated cultural research and clinical nuances with their respective projects. They will share their experience working within existing organizations and institutions and describe how they facilitate global nursing partners and research excellence.
